Ms. Ababio is a skilled administrator with over 25 years’ experience managing complex systems infrastructure projects. Marilyn is a leader in the development of cultural relevant programs. She is a rare combination of visionary and architect. A graduate of UCLA, and Occidental College, Ms. Ababio is a presenter and participant on issues of advanced health care planning and practices.

Cynthia Burnett has over 20 years of consulting expertise in the areas of organization management, strategic planning, and fund development. In 2007 she incorporated her practice as Burnett Consulting Associates, LLC (BCA) www.bcabiz.com.
BCA supports the growth and sustainability of community-based organizations, small businesses, and public benefit programs that endeavor to promote economic opportunity, social cohesion, and good health. Cynthia has a B.A. in Sociology from Sacramento State University (1993), a Masters in Human Resources and Organization Development from the University of San Francisco (2003) and several professional certifications.

Nandi is the youngest of five siblings & grew up in Oakland, CA. Her 15+ year career began as a peer educator and mentor for GIRLS INC, where she educated and counseled girls in her community on making more informed life decisions .She is the managing director of Comfort Homesake and has a degree in biology from San Francisco State University.

Dr. Jamila Dugan is a leadership coach, learning facilitator, and researcher. Her professional experience is rooted in education with roles at the teacher, leader, and consultant level. She currently serves as a leadership coach with TNTP in the Pathway to Leadership in Urban Schools program. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Fresno State University, a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from George Mason University, and a doctorate in Education Leadership for Equity from University of California, Berkeley.

Kimberly Habi is currently the founder of Hummingbird Haven a place for families, especially those families of military Veterans, to have space where they can feel comfortable discussing their emotions, cares, and concerns surrounding their loved ones Trauma and PTSD. Kim is currently pursuing her Doctorate Degree in Marriage, Family, and Clinical Psychology at Arizona State University. Her focus on military Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Secondary Traumatic Stress Disorder (STSD) makes her an asset to millions of families who have loved ones suffering from this disease.

Donald Miller, BCC is a Board Certified Chaplain by the Louisiana Chaplains Association, he has a American Baptist Ordination and is Licensed by Allen Temple Baptist Church, he is a Chaplain with Alameda Health System and volunteers with the Alameda County Sheriff's Office as Chaplain. He joined the Comfort Homesake Board of Directors in 2017 .

Dr. Monique Parrish, DrPH, MPH, LCSW is the Director of LifeCourse Strategies a health care consulting firm providing strategic planning, meeting facilitation, community-based research, program development, and project management to public and non-profit organizations addressing the health and social service needs of underserved and vulnerable older adults, and individuals with chronic illness and disabilities. Dr. Parrish began her career as a Peace Corps health volunteer in the Central African Republic. She received her Master of Public Health and Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University and her Doctorate in Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley. She is the author of numerous palliative care and post-acute care reports and journal articles. Dr. Parrish provides weekly volunteer clinical social work services to homeless women.

Sales, Esq. is a former managing partner of Chapman and Cutler (Chicago, Illinois), Powell, Goldstein, Frazier & Murphy (Atlanta, Georgia), and the minority-owned Sales, Goodloe, & Golden (Atlanta, Chicago, and Miami), specializing, at each firm, in public finance, with particular interest in housing and community/economic development law and finance, on behalf of numerous state and local government agencies and instrumentalities in Illinois, Indiana, Georgia, Florida and Texas.
